The trial, in plain terms
- One free month, offered once, at full access — every module AFTWISE™ has, at the Aftwise Captain level — on whichever monthly plan you choose. The number of boats follows the plan you pick: one on Owner, three on Cruiser, five on Captain
- Then the plan you chose, at its own price. Nothing moves you to a higher plan when the month ends; if you picked Owner or Cruiser, the sections above your plan close and what you entered in them stays in your record
- Cancel any time in your Apple account subscription settings, the same as any other App Store subscription
- Billing is Apple’s. Prices are in US dollars, billed through your Apple ID; Aftwise, LLC does not receive your card details
Three steps, and the first evening does most of it
Install it
Open it on whichever device is nearest. There is no account to create. The first screen is the plans: start the free month on a monthly plan, or buy one, and the app then asks whether to look at a demonstration boat, set up your own, or restore a backup.
Look around the demo boat
Once your month has started, one is waiting, your choice of a 54-foot trawler or a 23-foot center console. Equipment, a maintenance schedule, trips and completed checklist runs are already in there. Poke at all of it — you cannot break anything.
Add your own boat
Quick Start walks you through the six setup steps. Copy whatever fits straight off the demo boat, or bring in the spreadsheet you already keep — either way you are not typing from nothing.
Saturday morning
One evening of setup, and the boat does not wait for the rest. Add to the record as the season goes.
